X12258		A pottery shortbread mould. Marked, to the reverse, 'DOULTON. BURSLEM. ENGLAND'. Date: c.1900. Size: 19.3cm. (7 5/8") diameter by 2cm. (3/4") deep. These shortbread moulds were made as advertisements for Brown and Polson. It is transfer printed in black with: 'BROWN & POLSON'S Raising Powder Makes Shortbread Crisp and short And more easy of digestion. PAISLEY FLOUR TRADE MARK'. It is in excellent condition.	£70. X12235		A Shelley 'Crayfish' pattern mould. Marked in green, 'SHELLEY', in a shield, with 'MADE IN' above and 'ENGLAND' beneath. Date: c.1925. Size: 14.5cm. (5 3/4") long by 13cm. (5 1/8") wide by 8.6cm. (3 3/8") deep. This mould has a stylised shell to the top, with alternating shells and crayfish around the sides. It is in excellent condition.	£115.	U.S.A. +£10. W11793		An earthenware mould in the shape of a rabbit. Marked 'GRIMWADES. STOKE ON TRENT. ENGLAND' in a black printed mark. There is also a raised mark on the side of the mould which reads 'S/S. BUNNY'. Date: c.1930. Size: 19.5cm. (7 3/4") long by 11.7cm. (4 5/8") wide by 10cm. (4") deep. This mould turns out the full form of a rabbit and it has good detail. It is in excellent, usable condition. We also have a second example of this mould which is larger. It measures 22.5cm. (8 7/8") long by 12cm. (4 3/4") wide by 11cm. (4 3/8") deep. V9950		A heavy ironstone mould with a geometric design to the base. Marked 'WEDGWOOD & CO. LTD.' This is the mark of Wedgwood and Company of the Unicorn and Pinnox Works, Tunstall. It also has impressed numbers '6' over '04'. Date: c.1904. Size: 19cm. (7 1/2") long by 14.5cm. (5 3/4") wide by 8.5cm. (3 5/8") deep. This mould has a geometric design to the base, which looks like a ten petalled daisy, and fluted sides. It is in excellent, usable condition.	£32.	U.S.A. +£15. Western Europe +£10.

This piece is very crisply moulded and the design is well detailed on both the inside and the outside. This design was made in four different sizes and this is the largest. W11434		A Shelley 'Ritz' pattern mould. Marked in black, 'Shelley' (in a shield) with 'ENGLAND' beneath. Date: c.1920. Size: 14.5cm. (5 3/4") long by 12.5cm. (5") wide by 11cm. (4 1/4") high. This mould is the same design as the Carlton pattern but the Carlton has the cream top whereas the Ritz has a raised centre. It was made in four sizes, varying in capasity from 1 pint to 2 1/2 pints. Z4462		A Shelley 'Armadillo' pattern mould. Marked, in dark green, 'SHELLEY' (in a shield) with 'MADE IN' above and 'ENGLAND' beneath. Date: c.1930. Size: 25.4cm. (10") long by 17.5cm. (6 7/8") wide by 11cm. (4 1/4") high. This mould turns out the full form of an armadillo. It is very crisply moulded and the design is well detailed. Unlike most Shelley moulds the design of this mould does not show fully on the outside. This design was made in three different sizes and this is the largest size of the three.Unfortunately there is a large chip to the footrim. This can be seen in the other image. W11224		An earthenware mould with a rabbit to the base. Marked: 'MALING. ENGLAND' in green print. This is the mark of C.T. Maling & Sons, of A & B Ford Potteries, Newcastle upon Tyne. Date: c.1910. Size: 19cm. (7 1/2") long by 14.5cm. (5 3/4") wide by 12cm. (4 3/4") deep. This piece is potted in a light earthenware with a white glaze. In the base is a rabbit sitting amongst flowers, on a grassy mound. This is surrounded by a fluted border. It is in excellent condition.	£69.	U.S.A. +£10. Western Europe +£5.
V10217		A Maling mould in the form of a castle. Marked, in grey print, 'MALING MADE IN ENGLAND.' Date: c.1920. Size: 15cm. (6") long by 11.3cm. (4 1/2") wide by 10cm. (4") high. This mould would turn out a typical sand castle shape with six turrets. It is in excellent condition and it is a good usable mould.	£56.	U.S.A. +£10. Western Europe +£5.
V10233		A large earthenware mould with an all over floral design. Marked 'ROYAL SEMI PORCELAIN. T.G.& F.BOOTH. ENGLAND'. Date: c.1900. Size: 22.5cm. (8 7/8") long by 18cm. (7 1/8") wide by 11.7cm. (4 5/8") deep. This design consists of lilies and convolvulus and the same design was also produced by Wedgwood. This example is not such good quality as the Wedgwood examples. V9913		A heavy, ironstone mould with a bird in the base. This mould has an impressed mark 'BOOTHS' and also a printed mark. The printed mark is green and has the words 'BOOTHS. ROYAL SEMI PORCELAIN. STAFFORDSHIRE' within an oval, with a crown above and 'ENGLAND' below. There is also an impressed '9' and a letter 'S'. Date: c.1900. Size: 19cm. (7 1/2") long by 16cm. (6 1/4") wide by 11.5cm. (4 1/2") deep. This piece is very heavily potted in ironstone. It has a bird, possibly a dove, on a nest, in the base. This sits on top of fluted sides. It is in very good, usable condition but there is a small piece of dark coloured kiln grit within the mould. This is visible in the image.	£39.	U.S.A. +£15. Western Europe +£10.
V9934		A small earthenware mould with a geometric design to the base. Marked 'MINTONS' in what is known as 'The standard globe mark', which was used from 1912 -1950. Date: c1920. Size 9.5cm. (3 3/4") diameter by 7.5cm. (3") deep. There is a stylised flower in the base of the mould, and the sides are sharply fluted. It is in excellent condition.	£35.	U.S.A. +£5. Western Europe +£5.
V10220		An earthenware mould of geometric form. Marked, in green transfer print, 'GREEN & CO LTD. GRESLEY ENGLAND' around a church. Date: c.1920. Size: 13.6cm. (5 3/8") diameter by 7cm. (2 3/4") deep. This mould is of a very simple form. It is like a pudding bowl with fluted sides. It is in very good, usable condition.	£29.	U.S.A. +£10. Western Europe +£5.
V10566		An earthenware mould in the shape of a chicken. Marked with a green transfer printed mark 'GREENS NEWSTYLE JELLIES'. Date: c.1920. Size: 16.5cm. (6 1/2") long 12.5cm. (5") wide by 8.3cm. (3 1/4") deep. This mould is well detailed on both the inside and the outside. It is in excellent condition.	£48.	U.S.A. +£10. Western Europe +£5.
V10211		A large eathenware mould with a rose design to the base. Marked: 'BRISTOL 3-23'. This is the mark of Pountney & Co. of Bristol Victoria Pottery, Temple Backs, Bristol, who have potted there since 1849. The '3-23' in the mark tells us that it was made in March 1923. Size: 19cm. (7 1/2") long by 14.5cm. (5 3/4") wide by 11cm. (4 1/4") deep. This mould has a rose in the base and it has a border which looks like pointed top fence posts. There is very slight staining to a couple of high points within the mould but other than this it is in good, usable condition.	£35.	U.S.A. +£10. Western Europe +£5.
V10215		An earthenware mould with a fluted border and a cream top. Marked only with 'MADE IN ENGLAND' in a circle. Date: c.1920. Size: 15.5cm. (6 1/8") long by 11cm. (4 3/8") wide by 8cm. (3 1/8") deep. This mould is a very simple shape but it is interesting to use as the top can be filled with fruits or cream. It is in very good, usable condition.	£29.	U.S.A. +£10.
