X12186 A large, dark blue jasper dip jardiniere. Marked: 'WEDGWOOD'. There is also a single impressed 'W' and the number '9'. Date c.1860. Size: 20.3cm. (8") high by 23.5cm. (9 1/4") diameter. This piece is decorated with Apollo and five of the Muses beneath garlands of vines and leaves which hang from lions' heads. The reliefs are all good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. The jardiniere is in excellent condition. £235. U.S.A.

X12133 A dark blue jasper dip mustard pot with a silver plated rim. Marked 'WEDGWOOD. ENGLAND'. Date: c.1900. Size: 4.5cm. (1 3/4") diameter by 8.2cm. (3 1/4") high. This piece is decorated with a continuous band of classical figures and trees. The relief are quite fine and well detailed and the piece is in excellent condition. £59. U.S.A.

X12131 A small, dark blue jasper dip comport. Marked 'WEDGWOOD'. Date: c.1860. Size: 11.5cm. (4 1/2") diameter by 8.2cm. (3 1/4") high. Originally this piece would probably have been a part of a dressing table set. The decoration is very simple and it consists of acanthus leaves around the foot and a border of oak leaves and acorns around the rim. The blue dip is a good rich shade, typical of its' period, and the piece is in excellent condition. £79. U.S.A.

W11540 A dark blue jasper dip cheese dome and stand. Marked 'WEDGWOOD. MADE IN ENGLAND'. Date: c.1920. Size: The diameter of the stand is 23.5cm. (9 1/4") and the total height of the piece when the dome is on the stand is 12.3cm. (4 7/8"). This piece is decorated with a continuous band of classical figures. To the top, and also to the stand, is a border of oak leaves and acorns. Wedgwood made cheese domes in three different sizes and this is the smallest. There is slight staining to the stand, from use, but other than this the dome and stand are both in very good condition.

W11356 A dark blue jasper dip cup and saucer. Both the cup and saucer are marked: 'WEDGWOOD' and they are also both marked with the letters '*HA'. The first of the letters, in both cases, is indistinct. These are the date letters for 1872. Size: The saucer is 14.5cm. (5 3/4") diameter and the total height of the cup and saucer, when together, is 6.5cm. (2 1/2"). The cup is decoarated with three different classical subjects which are divided by anthemions. The saucer has a further six differnet subjects, also divided by anthemions. The handle shape is quite unusual. All of the reliefs are very finely detailed and both cup and saucer are in excellent condition.

W11236 A dark blue jasper dip, circular fluted trinket box and cover. Marked: 'WEDGWOOD. MADE IN ENGLAND' and also impressed with an '0'. This would be a workmans' mark. Date: c.1920. Size: 12.5cm. (5") diameter by 5cm. (2") high. This piece is decorated with a classical subject to the lid and there are eight small reliefs of cupids and cherubs around the sides. The reliefs are good quality and the jasper is a good rich shade of blue. Both box and lid are in excellent condition.

W11192 A dark blue jasper dip jardiniere. Marked: 'WEDGWOOD'. Date c.1870. Size: 16.5cm. (6 1/2") high by 18.5cm. (7 1/4") diameter. This piece is decorated with five of the Muses beneath garlands of vines and leaves which hang from lions' heads. The reliefs are all good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. The jardiniere is in very good condition. There is a firing fault in the base which is like a gash which runs through the Wedgwood mark. £135. U.S.A.

A small pair of dark blue jasper dip vases. Marked: 'WEDGWOOD'. They also have some odd impressed numbers and letters which are probably workmans' marks. Date: c.1880. Size: 13.5cm. (5 3/8") high. These vases have onion shaped bodies with long slender necks. There are three different classical subjects on each vase and bands of leaves to the necks. There is quite a lot of stress cracking, from manufacture, to the reliefs. Other than this they are in very good condition. £145

A dark blue, jasper dip jardiniere and stand. Both pot and stand are marked: 'WEDGWOOD. MADE IN ENGLAND'. They are also marked with an impressed number '3 1/2', which relates to the size, and the pot has a letter 'H' and the stand has a letter 'J'. Date: c.1920. Size: 8.6cm. (3 3/8") total height by 11cm. (4 3/8") diameter of saucer. These small jardinieres are not often found with their stands. This one is decorated with a continuous band of classical figures and trees. The stand has a border of leaves. Both the pot and the stand are in excellent condition and the jasper dip is a good rich shade of blue.
