This plaque is decorated with a centrally printed verse within a cartouche. The print is then coloured in green, blue and red enamels. The moulded border is decorated with a combination of copper and pink splash lustre. This plaque is decorated with a central print showing a sailing ship beneath which is the verse "May Peace & Plenty On our Nation Smile and Trade with Commerce Blefs the British Isle" within a cartouche. The print is then coloured in green, yellow, blue and red enamels. The moulded border is decorated with a combination of copper and pink splash lustre. There are two captive hairline cracks beneath the verse, one shows on the front of the plaque and the other shows on the reverse, but neither go through the pot. There is a further hairline to the rim. Other than this the plaque is in good condition and both the lustre and the enamel decoration is in good, bright condition. £175. U.S.A.

This plaque is decorated with a central print showing a steam- ship beneath which is the title “THE GREAT EASTERN STEAM SHIP". The print is then coloured in green, yellow, blue and red enamels. The moulded border is decorated with a combination of copper and pink splash lustre. There is a small piece missing from the top right hand corner and the is also a chip on the rim, beneath the ship. B15540 A small, 19th century, Sunderland lustre jug printed with 'THE SAILORS FAREWEL'. Unmarked. Date: c.1830. Size: 12cm. (4 3/4") high by 11cm. (4 1/4") diameter at the widest part of the body. The total width, from the tip of the spout to the outer edge of the handle is 15.5cm. (6 1/8"). This piece is decorated, to one side, with a black transfer print of The Sailors Farewell and a verse underneath. The print shows a sailor, with his family, outside a cottage, and with his ship in the background. The print is coloured with green, red and yellow enamels. To the opposite side is a verse within a cartouche which is also coloured in enamels. To the rim is a wide band of pink splash lustre and there are further pink lustre highlights to the handle and the body of the jug. There is a very small flake of glaze to the spout but other than this the jug is in very good condition and all of the decoration is still very crisp and bright. £150. U.S.A.

X11923 A very fine quality pink lustre cup and saucer. Marked with an impressed daisy shape to the saucer.' Date: c.1820. Size: 13.6cm. (5 3/8") diameter of the saucer by 7cm. (2 3/4") total height when the cup and saucer are together. This piece is very lightly potted in pearlware. It is well decorated, with a version of the house pattern, in varying shades of pink lustre. Both the cup and saucer are in very good, clean condition and the lustre is still very bright.

X11919 A very fine quality pink lustre coffee pot and cover. Unmarked. Date: c.1820. Size: 26cm. (10 1/4") high to the top of the finial, by 24cm. (9 1/2") from the tip of the spout to the outer edge of he handle. This piece is very lightly potted in creamware. It is well decorated, with a version of the house pattern, in varying shades of pink lustre. There are two very small chips, one to the end of the spout and the other to the under side of the foot. Other than this it is in very good, clean condition and the lustre is still very bright. £158. U.S.A.

This piece is moulded, to either side, with different scenes depicting huntsmen with dogs. Around the rim is a band of grapes and vines. The design is highlighted in various shades of pink lustre and green enamel. There is minimal rubbing to the lustre on the rim and the handle. Other than this it is in excellent condition. £158. B15050 An attractive pink resist lustre jug. Unmarked. Date: c.1820. Size: 12.8cm. (5") high, to the top of the handle. This piece is very lightly potted in pearlware. It is decorated with a wide band of pink resist lustre, which is in a vermicelli design, with a geometric border to the top. There are flowers and leaves in blue green and yellow enamels. To the rim of the jug is a wide band of stylised leaves in pink lustre. There are two very tiny hairline cracks to the rim, one to either side of the handle. Each is only about 1 cm. long. There is also very slight rubbing to some of the enamel. Other than this the piece is in very good condition and the lustre is in very good bright condition. £145. U.S.A.

A miniature Gaudy Welsh lustre jug. Unmarked. Date: c.1840. Size: 9cm. (3 1/2") high, to the top of the handle, by 6.5cm. (2 1/2") diameter at its widest part. This jug is quite an attractive shape and it is decorated in the typical gaudy Welsh palette of iron red, blue and green. This is highlighted with pink and copper lustre. This shape of jug is more often seen with gaudy lustre decoration. The design on this piece is quite unusual. It is moulded with foliate sprigs which are coloured in lilac enamel. A14501 A small lustre decorated bowl. Marked with the Portland vase and 'WEDGWOOD ENGLAND' in gilt print. There is also a pattern number 'Z4829' in black script. Date: c.1915. Size: 9.8cm. (3 7/8") diameter by 5.7cm. (2 1/4") high. This piece is decorated, with dragons, in various colours of lustre glaze and gilt. This design is one of those known by Wedgwood as their 'Ordinary Lustres' which were designed by Daisy Meikig Jones in the early part of the 20th Century. She also designed the Fairyland lustres. A14500 A moulded pearlware jug with pink lustre and green enamel decoration. Marked only with two paint brush strokes in pink lustre to the base. Date: c.1830. Size: 14.5cm. (5 3/4') high. This piece is moulded, to either side, with huntsmen and horses and under the spout is a pack of hounds. Around the rim is a band of leaves and there is a moulded basketweave design around the base. The design is highlighted in various shades of pink lustre and green enamel.
