D16510 A copper lustre jug decorated with pink lustre and blue enamel. Unmarked. Date: c.1840. Size: 12.7cm. (5") high by 10.5cm. (4 1/8") diameter at its widest part. The total width, from the tip of the spout to the outer edge of the handle is 15.2cm. (6"). This jug decorated with a band of pink lustre flowers on a white background to the rim and around the body of the jug is a band of blue enamel flowers on a pink lustre ground. C16470 An attractive silver resist lustre jug. Unmarked. Date: c.1820. Size: 14cm. (5 1/2") high by 12.5cm. (5") diameter at its widest part. The total width, from the tip of the spout to the outer edge of the handle is 15.2cm. (6"). This piece is quite primitively decorated, with stylised flowers and leaves, in silver resist lustre on a pearlware body. There is very minor wear to the lustre on the rim and the handle, but other than this it is in very good condition. £145. U.S.A.

C16278 A 19th century, Sunderland lustre frog mug. Unmarked. Date: c.1830. Size: 9.2cm. (3 5/8") diameter by 12.5cm. (5") high. The total width, including the handle, is 13.5cm. (5 3/8"). This piece is decorated, in the typical Sunderland manner, with a combination of black transfer prints, pink lustre and coloured enamels. To one side is a print depicting the Cast Iron Bridge over the River Wear and to the other side is a verse. To the interior of the mug is a large black frog with pink lustre eyes and lips. These can all be seen in the other images. There is a very fine hair crack in the rim, just to the side of the handle, which is approximately 3.8cm. (1 1/2") long. Other than this the mug is in very good condition and both the lustre and enamel decoration is still very bright. £175. U.S.A.

C15928 A large pearlware jug decorated with pink lustre and green enamel. Unmarked. Date: c.1820. Size: 17.5cm. (7") high by 16cm. (6 1/4") diameter at its widest part. The total width, from the tip of the spout to the outer edge of the handle is 19.5cm. (7 3/4"). This jug is quite lightly potted. It is decorated with a design of grapes, in pink lustre, and vine leaves, in green enamel, and it has a solid band of pink lustre to the rim. There is very minor wear to the lustre, on the high points, and there is a little loss to the green enamel on one of the leaves. There is also a very feint hairline, approximately 3cm. (1 1/4") long, in the rim. However, this is a very attractive jug and the lustre, and general appearance, is clean and bright. £175. U.S.A.

C15931 A moulded pearlware jug with pink lustre and coloured enamel decoration. Unmarked. Date: c.1820. Size: 12.5cm. (5") high by 16cm. (6 1/4") from the tip of the spout to the outer edge of the handle. This jug is moulded, to either side, with dogs. Around the rim is a band of flowers. The design is highlighted in pink lustre and green, yellow, blue and brown enamels. There is minor rubbing to the lustre on the high points of the moulding. There is also a crack at the base of the handle, a short hairline in the rim, a tiny chip in the rim and two small, star cracks to the body of the jug. These are visible on the outside of the jug but they do not go through. £59. U.S.A.

This plaque is decorated with a central print showing a steam- ship beneath which is the title “THE GREAT EASTERN STEAM SHIP". The print is then coloured in green, yellow, blue and red enamels. The moulded border is decorated with a combination of copper and pink splash lustre. There is a small piece missing from the top right hand corner and the is also a chip on the rim, beneath the ship. There is a further hairline to the rim. Both the lustre and the enamel decoration is in good, bright condition. £140. U.S.A.

X11919 A very fine quality pink lustre coffee pot and cover. Unmarked. Date: c.1820. Size: 26cm. (10 1/4") high to the top of the finial, by 24cm. (9 1/2") from the tip of the spout to the outer edge of he handle. This piece is very lightly potted in creamware. It is well decorated, with a version of the house pattern, in varying shades of pink lustre. There are two very small chips, one to the end of the spout and the other to the under side of the foot. Other than this it is in very good, clean condition and the lustre is still very bright. £158. U.S.A.

V10514 A small plate with pink lustre and green transfer decoration. Unmarked. Date: c.1850. Size: 15.6cm. (6 1/8") diameter. This plate has a chinoiserie pattern printed in very dark green. This is then highlighted in pink lustre. This type of design is quite common in other colours but it is not common with this combination of colours. The plate is possibly from a childs' service.
