A lovely quality, creamware mould with a basket of fruit to the base. This is a very classical design of the late 18th century and the mould dates from c.1790. The basket of fruit, which is very deeply moulded with excellent detail, is surrounded by an interesting, geometric border. Unfortunately, due to its’ condition, it would not be wise to use this mould.
Dimensions: Length 18.6cm. Width 15cm Depth 8cm.
English creamware. Date c.1790.
Condition: Two hairline cracks to one end, each approximately 5cm. long. There is also a firing line in the middle of the fruit which does not go through the pot.
