A Wedgwood creamware mould in the shape of a nut. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1790. Underneath the Wedgwood mark is a workman’s mark in the shape of a flower. The mould would turn out half of a walnut and the moulding is very well detailed. It is quite heavily potted for creamware.
