A late 19th century, pottery mould made for Brown and Polson. On the exterior this has a black transfer print which gives a recipe for Brown & Polson’s Corn Flour Blanc-Mange. The interior is moulded with a geometric design which turns out a very typical, ornate jelly shape. It dates from c.1890 and is in excellent, usable condition.
