A Copeland pottery jelly mould with strawberries to the base. This piece is marked, to the base, with an impressed 'COPELAND' mark and it dates from c.1860. The design is quite elaborate. It has strawberries to the base with a border of trellis, and a wide band of strawberry leaves to the rim. The moulding is very well detailed and the pattern turns out very well. The mould has taken a small bump at some time which has resulted in a crack in the rim. This is just on the exterior and it does not go through the mould so it would not affect the usability of the piece. Other than that it is in good condition.
