Davenport 'Game Birds' ironstone mould.

A super quality, large, 19th century, ironstone jelly mould. This is impressed “DAVENPORT” around an anchor and there is also a number “48”. These marks date the mould to 1848. There is also a number “9” which relates to the size in inches. It is very well moulded with two game birds amongst foliage, to the base.    

Dimensions: Length 22.5cm. Width 18cm Height 10cm.

Condition:  Excellent.
