A nineteenth century, earthenware mould with a fish to the base. This mould has no manufacturers marks and it dates from c.1840. The fish design to the base is quite well, detailed and it is surrounded by a simple, tiered border. The mould would have been used for a fish mousse or terrine. There are two chips to the relief in the design and there is a further chip and short hairline crack to the rim.
