A heavy, ironstone mould which would turn out a lion, sitting cross legged, on a rocky outcrop. The design of this mould is very well modelled, with good detail, and it would turn out well. This would be a delightful mould to use for a child’s party. It is heavily potted and dates from c.1860.

Condition: There is a very tiny chip to the foot rim.
