A miniature copper mould in the shape of a cardoon. This is English, it is made from a substantial gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. Originally it would have had a coating of tin on the exterior as well as the interior but this has now been removed, revealing the copper beneath. It is in excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in really good, bright, usable condition.
