An unusual shaped, 19th century, ironstone mould. This is a very attractive design, with a stylised flower on the top of the mould and an elongated foliate design to each of the corners. It would turn out very well as the design, although quite simple, is very elegant. The mould is heavily potted and dates from c.1860. There is an impressed number ’35’ to the base and also an incised number ’36’.

Condition: There is a very tiny chip to one of the high points within the mould.
