A yellow ware pottery mould with a bird eating from a basket of fruit to the base. The colour of the pot used in the manufacture of this mould is very unusual. It is more often seen in jugs but not often in moulds. The moulding of the design is deep and very well detailed. The mould is English and it dates from c.1840.
There are two small chips on the foot rim but other than that it is in good condition.
