A pottery jelly mould, with a black transfer print, advertising Brown & Polson's Blanc-Mange. This is marked, to the base, 'BRITISH ALBION POTTERY ENGLAND' and it dates from c.1910. The design on the inside of the mould would turn out a typical, fancy jelly shape and the transfer on the outside gives a recipe telling you how to make and serve a blanc-mange using Brown and Polson's cornflour. There is a small blemish on the foot of the mould but this would not affect its' usability. Other than that it is in very good condition.
