A large Minton jelly mould in the shape of a castle. This is marked “MINTON” and it is also impressed with the pattern number “No 8” over “8”. Number 8 corresponds to Minton’s 1848 catalogue and 8 is the size in inches. There are some other slightly indistinct, impressed marks and one of these could be the year cypher for 1904. The design is well detailed, and would turn out very well, and the mould is in excellent condition.
