A Shelley jelly mould in the shape of a rabbit. Shelley made five different animal moulds and they are all very collectable. The rabbit was made in three different sizes and this one is the middle size of the three. It is marked, in very dark green print, “Shelley” within a shield, above “ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1930. It is very well modelled, with the design on both the interior and the exterior, so it is both functional and decorative. The bow on the back of the rabbits neck allows the mould to stand properly when setting the contents.
It is in excellent condition.
