Shelley 'Ritz'

A Shelley, small sized, 'Ritz' pattern mould. This shape was made in four different sizes, with this being the smallest. It is marked, in black, 'Shelley' within a shield, with 'ENGLAND' beneath and it dates from c.1920. On the side of the mould it is impressed with a number '1' and this relates to the size. Many of Shelley's moulds were named after London Hotels and this design was known as the 'Ritz'. It is in excellent condition.
