A Shelley jelly mould in the shape of a swan. Shelley made four different moulds in the shapes of animals and they are all very collectable. The swan has always been my favourite as it is such an elegant shape and the design is really well detailed on both the exterior and the interior. It was made in three different sizes. This example is marked, in green print, ’Shelley’ in a shield, above ‘ENGLAND’ and it dates from the 1930’s. It is in excellent condition.
