A late Victorian, carved wooden breadboard. This board is carved in beechwood, with the word ‘Bread’, a small flower and long leaves, and it dates from c.1900. Although this is one of the more common designs this is a good example and the carving is still quite crisp. There is scratching to the face of the board, from use, but otherwise it is in good condition.
