A 19th century, beechwood breadboard carved with “Spare Not”. The script on this board is carved in an attractive font and the rest of the border is carved with long, stylised leaves and wheat. The board has seen plenty of use and the wood has quite a dark patina.
Dimensions: Diameter 29.5cm. Depth 1.8cm.
Condition: There is staining to the wood, scratching and knife marks to the centre and slight chipping to the wood on one side.
