Almost Square Breadboard

A small, Victorian, square shaped breadboard. This board is carved in beechwood. It has a plain centre and the corners are simply carved with stylised flowers. The wood has a good, rich, patina and the board dates from c.1890. It is in excellent condition, with just slight scratching, to the centre, from use.
