A small, Victorian, beechwood breadboard with a carved border. This is English and it dates from c.1890. The border is carved with the word “Bread” and long, stylised leaves. There is wear to the border, and scratching to the face of the board, from use. There are also a couple of dark stains which can be seen in the image. The wood has quite a dark patina.
