Code: H21166
A heavy, Victorian, cast brass pastry tool with a wheel to one end and a cutter to the other end which is in the shape of a spade from a pack of playing cards, or a three leafed clover. This is very well made and it dates from c.1870. The chunky wheel, which consists of circular indentations, was used for putting a border design onto pastry, and the cutter was used for making shapes to ornament a pie. It is in very good condition although the cutter does not sit flat.
Dimensions: Length 11.2cm. Diameter of wheel 3cm. Length of cutter 4.2cm.
