A nineteenth century, brass cruciform pastry tool with a turned, boxwood handle. This is a very good quality example, dating from c.1860. The heavy, cast brass tool has a wheel, for trimming the pastry, to the top and there are two different, circular markers, one to either side. The turned, boxwood handle has a lovely colour and patina and there is a brass ring attached to the end, for hanging. The piece is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Length, including hanging loop 24.8cm. Width 8cm. Diameter of wheel 3.2cm.
