Dimensions:
A Victorian breadboard carved from beechwood. This board has very attractive carving to the border and it dates from c.1880. It is carved with the word ‘Bread’ and two, long, stylised ears of wheat. The carving was originally quite deep and now it is slightly worn. The wood has a rich patina. There is slight scratching to the face of the board, from use, but other than that it is in very good condition.
