A nineteenth century, beechwood breadboard carved with “Welcome”. This is well carved and the remainder of the border was originally quite deeply carved with a lovely design incorporating wheat and leaves. The carving is now worn with use, giving character to the board. There are three tiny stains to the face of the board but it is is very good condition with no splits or chips.
