1920's breadboard

A carved sycamore breadboard dating from the 1920’s. This is carved with ‘Bread’ and, to the opposite side, is a small flower. The board is slightly warped with age, so it doesn’t sit flat on the table. This adds character to the piece. It is in excellent condition, with just the usual scratch marks from use, and the sycamore has a lovely pale patina.
