An English sycamore breadboard dating from c.1920. This is carved with wheat and a cross. Over the years it has seen a lot of use and the carving is now quite worn, adding character to the board. There are the usual scratches and cut marks to both the face and the reverse of the board, from use, but it is in good condition, with no splits or chips. The wood has a lovely, pale patina.
