Code: K23102
A late nineteenth century, carved wooden breadboard. This is carved in beechwood and it dates from c.1890. The carving is quite simple, with “Bread” carved in and ornate script and the remainder of the border scratch carved with a leaf design which is now quite worn. The board has suffered a burn to the rim, on the reverse, but otherwise is in good condition. There are the usual scratch marks to both the face and the reverse of the board, from use.
Dimensions: Diameter 30cm. Depth 2cm.
