A beechwood breadboard with a poker work design to the border. This board has been turned on a lathe and then the cross design to the rim has been applied using a hot poker. The board has seen a lot of use and the centre is very dished, giving the piece a lot of character. There are numerous knife marks to both the face and the reverse of the board but otherwise it is in good condition and the wood has a lovely, honey coloured patina.
