A lovely quality, 19th century bread knife with a carved sycamore handle. This has a steel blade, with a nicely shaped end, and the handle is very well carved in the shape of a corn on the cob. The carving is very naturalistic and the piece is in excellent condition. It is English and dates from c.1860.
