An early 20th century sycamore breadboard with a carved design. The border to this board is carved with the word “BREAD” and there are small flowers to either side. The remainder of the border is scratch carved with long leaves but within the main border is a further scalloped border. The board dates from c.1920 and is in good condition other than for a couple of small burns to the reverse which can be seen in the second image.
