A nicely carved, Victorian, sycamore breadboard of octagonal form. This is a very attractive board, with deeply carved leaves to the border. The wood has a beautifully rich, honey coloured patina and the board dates from c.1870. There is the usual scratching to both sides of the board, from use, but other than this it is in excellent condition.
