Code: K23017
A, English, sycamore breadboard dating from c.1900. This is very simply carved with wheat, barley and a cross in a shield. The carving is now quite worn from use, and there are numerous scratch marks to both the face and the reverse of the board. The wood has a very pale patina and the board has no chips or cracks but it has, at some time, been left on the stove so there is a burn mark to the reverse.
Dimensions: Diameter 29.7cm. Depth 1.8cm.
