A late Victorian beechwood breadboard of fairly simple form. The border to this board is carved with petal shapes, which although quite plain, is also pleasing. The board dates from c.1890 and the wood has a lovely, honey coloured patina. There is a small burn mark to the face of the board, and there are also cut marks, from use, but otherwise it is in very good condition.
