A rare, carved sycamore board made for the Far Famed Bread Co. This is carved, to the border, with “Far Famed Bread Co” but unfortunately the carving is now extremely well worn and a little difficult to make out. The Far Famed Bread Co started in London in 1881 and became part of Fitch Lovell in 1950. We have never seen a board carved with this before and it dates from c.1890. It has seen plenty of use and is now scratched, worn and has slight staining from use but it is still a very interesting piece.
