A small, Victorian sycamore breadboard. This is carved with the word “Bread” and long, stylised leaves. It dates from c.1890. The carving is now well worn and the board has a lovely, pale patina. There is one small split in the wood, to the rim, but otherwise it is in good condition with just the usual scratching from use to both the face and the reverse of the board.
Dimensions: Diameter 24.8cm. Depth 1.8cm.
