A 19th century, steel bread knife with a carved sycamore handle. The steel blade is marked with the makers name “WADE WINGFIELD & ROWBOTHAM SHEFFIELD” alongside a harp and a crown. The handle is very well carved with flowers and wheat and the piece dates from c.1870. There is very slight pitting to the blade but otherwise it is in excellent condition.
