A Victorian, sycamore breadboard carved with the motto “Our Daily Bread”. This is well carved but the carving, particularly to the long leaves, is now quite worn, giving the board character. It dates from c.1880 and is in good condition with just the usual scratches and knife marks to both the face and the underside of the board from use. The wood has an attractive, pale patina.
