A lovely quality, 19th century, sycamore breadboard. This is well caved with a border of acorns, oak leaves and wheat, against a stipple background. The carving is now worn, giving character to the board. It dates from c.1860 and is in very good condition. There are just light knife marks to the face and reverse of the board, from use.
