Code: H21135
A Victorian, beechwood breadboard with a carved border. This is carved with the word “Bread”, a single flower and long, stylised leaves. The carving is well executed, and still in good condition, and the board has a rich, honey coloured patina. There are knife marks to both the face of the board and also to the reverse and there is also a burn mark to the reverse, all consistent with use. Otherwise it is in good condition, with no splits, chips or worm holes.
