A nice quality, Victorian beechwood breadboard. This is well carved with the word “Bread” and the long leaves are chip carved. The board dates from c.1880 and the wood has a good, rich, deep coloured patina. It is in very good condition, with minimal wear, just the usual scratching to both the face and the reverse, consistent with use.
