A nineteenth century, sycamore breadboard, the border carved with the word “Bread”, long leaves and a small flower. This dates from c.1880 and has seen lots of use which adds to the character of the board. There is quite a dip to the centre of the board, the result of continued cutting, and there are also numerous cut marks and a little staining.
