A nice quality, sycamore butter print carved with a swan. This is English and it dates from c.1860. The swan is very well carved, with lots of detail to the plumage. The handle and print are carved in two separate pieces which are put together by means of a screw thread. It is in excellent condition and the wood has a lovely, honey coloured patina.
Dimensions: Diameter of print 9.7cm. Length of print and handle 8.9cm.
