A well carved, Victorian, sycamore breadboard. The carving, which consists of four flowers divided by four long leaves, is both deep and well detailed. The wood has a lovely, pale patina and the board has a slight warp which is only achievable with the passing of time. There are numerous knife marks to the face of the board, consistent with age and use, but the board is in very good condition with no splits, chips or worm holes.
