Code: H20891
A 19th century, wooden butter curler. This is a simple but practical item. When run across the top of a block of butter the result is a neat roll of butter with a ridged design. They are still made in plastic but this is a beechwood example dating from the mid 19th century. The wood has a lovely patina and the curler section shows a century and a half of wear. It is in very good condition and could still be used.
