A miniature, Adams, dark blue jasper teapot and cover. This is marked “ADAMS EST 1657 TUNSTALL ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1910. It is also impressed with the number ‘336’ and the letters ‘M’ and ‘R’. Both sides are decorated, in relief, with the town crest for Leeds which incorporates two owls to either side of a shield. The lid is decorated with a band of leaves. There are a couple of marks to the rim, where the jasper dip colour has not covered fully, but these are from the manufacture and there is no damage. It is in very good condition.
