A super quality, large, early nineteenth century, blue and white transfer printed pedestal bowl. This is printed with a number of different scenes. To the base of the bowl is a scene showing a horse drawn cart in a hilly landscape. The internal border is printed with a watermill, a bridge, a ruined castle and bullrushes and this is repeated around the outside of the bowl. All of the prints work in harmony with one another and the bowl is in excellent condition. There is a number ‘2’ in blue print, to the base of the bowl but no makers marks.
