A small pair of ironstone jugs. These are decorated, in the Imari palette, with a design which is typical of Mason’s ironstone but these charming little jugs are not marked. They could have been made by Mason’s, or possibly Ridgway, and they date from c.1830. One has a painted mark to the base in the form of a red cross.
They are both in excellent condition.
