An ironstone drainer, from a meat plate, decorated in the Imari palette. This is marked “SPODE’S NEW STONE” and it dates from c.1820. It is also has a pattern number ’3504’ painted in red enamel. It is decorated with an oriental inspired, floral design, in the typical Imari colours of blue and iron red which are highlighted in gilt. It is in excellent condition.
